Roboish Cat Concept Sketches

Been awhile since i've done a post, but while i was away at OIAF i started drawing up some sketches for a new project which is a somewhat robot -like cat but not 100% technical working since he'll have normal mouth and such.

he'll be a 3D project and something that isn't texture heavy since it's not something i want to get into but we'll see.

1 year difference

nothing new drawing wise to post, but from time to time i like comparing older art to newer art. It just shows me how i keep improving over time even a year can make a difference.

guess it helps i've studied wings since the first drawing so i'v been getting better at them slowly :3

New suit of armor

finally think i have Rick's new armor look down, from the front anyway :3

i love this alot more than before it has more details and actually looks like more proper armor

Fanart: Deadmau5 WIP 1

ok i totally fangasimed today, after hearing that deadmau5 is coming out with a new album fairly soon.

so as many of you know i'm not one to do much fanart, and when i do it means i'm really into it.

if you catch my streams you'll hear his music often.

it's crappy drawn in but the lumps by his feet are goign to be his other mau5 heads.

i'll probably work on this on and off between commissions.

I've been getting Reference sheet commissions for awhile so i thought i'd post what i've got of them.
I think my fav out of these i did is the blue dragon i spent on and off 2 months on it and i quite like the result.

None of these characters belong to me, they belong to their respective owners.

and this one is just a redo of the other icon i posted in the first post, but of my dragon character Frost.

Portrait Practise

I wanted to have a bit of practice with quick painting in SAI so I offered discounted commissions in order to get some text subjects.

Each piece was done between 1-3 hours; mostly the dragon took me the longest.

The characters do not belong to me but to their respective owners.
